Speak to a neighbor.
Disagreement is welcome. Critique an idea without attacking the person behind it. Do not threaten, harass, bully, or target people with hateful abuse. Make room for people with different experiences and points of view.
Protect each other’s privacy.
Standalone community conversations are public. Calendars, events, and their discussions are limited to people with a current verified connection to the linked entity. Do not share someone else’s address, phone number, private messages, or other personal information without their permission. Take care with your own information, too.
Be yourself, with a name you choose.
You are welcome to use a chosen display name. Do not impersonate someone, mislead people about who you represent, or create accounts to evade moderation. Confirming an email does not verify someone’s identity or residency.
Keep it useful and honest.
Ask sincere questions, share what you know, and explain when something is an opinion or uncertain. Avoid spam, repeated promotions, scams, and content that overwhelms a conversation. Do not use the service to arrange illegal activity or share content you do not have the right to publish.
Help look after this place.
Use Report beside a message when something breaks these rules. Reports go privately to the community stewards. You can also remove your own messages. Avoid repeating private information or harmful content when making a report.
Stewards may hide events, remove messages, close conversations, or restrict accounts to protect the community. You can ask for an explanation or a review of a decision.
For questions, urgent community concerns, or a request to review a moderation decision, contact m.watabe@gmail.com. Never send passwords or confirmation codes.
Understand the space.
This community includes public conversations and entity spaces for verified members. It does not offer direct messages. Do not rely on a post here for urgent help. By posting, you understand that your chosen display name and contributions are visible to the audience of that space. Members can copy what they read; protect sensitive personal information.
Changes to these rules should be clear. Material changes may require you to accept the updated rules before posting again.
